This book shows lots of women in science and makes me feel comfortable about being a scientist.
One example is Jane Goodall. She is an activist for helping chimps survive in the wild. Also there is Chien-Shiung Wu she a experimental physicist, and was awarded the Medal Of Science.
My Favorite Chemist described in this book is Alice Ball. At age 23 she developed a method of treating people suffering from Leprosy.

This book is about inventions that changed the world. Some of the inventions described in the book are the Toilet invented by Sir John Harrington a Godson of the Queen Elizabeth the first, Bandages invented by Earle Dickson apparently for his clumsy wife also potato chips Originally invented by George Crumb for a grumpy customers complaint. I like this book because its fun and has lots of information about all sorts of inventions with funny pictures.
Books I want to read next!!!

(this book is for kids who want to speak up)
